The wind and rain sensor is used for sensing both wind and rain. The sensor element for wind and light rain is connected to the outside through two independent change-over contacts (7-pole cable). The rain sensor is heated so as to keep the sensor surface dry and to prevent it from icing. The wind sensor is heated as well. The threshold for the wind sensor to respond can be set within a range of 3 - 12 m/s through a potentiometer on the device. The threshold for the rain sensor to respond is preset and cannot be changed. Both signals will be analysed through the 2x230VAC binary input only. For fixing the sensor you will need a separate mounting bracket. Power is supplied through the mains. The wind and rain sensor is weather and UV-resistant.
